Louise Jacobs (b. 1987) is a trained visual artist from Städelschule in Frankfurt, the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo, and as a modern and classical dancer at Alvin Ailey in New York. Her background as a dancer is incorporated into her current practice, with a research focus as a writer, where actions are explored through an existential portal. Through the grand drama of everyday life, she weaves together language, text, and situation. Jacobs has previously held solo exhibitions at Van Etten (2021) and Centralbanken (2022), and has performed numerous works, including at the Oslo Kunstforening (2024). She has published the novel
